she left for the interview....."thank God!", the tree said and relaxed. he was there since last seven years. he took birth at a nursery form and then planted here amongst many trees but near to this glass window. since then nobody has noticed him....not so closely.
the tree was a witness of many tensed faces of the human being in this room, who come wait there before going inside that "chamber of torture". he has given that name to that room because the faces have told him that the chamber is something to be scared of. may be there is a question of life and death! may be their live depends on the happening of the room! may be they wont be able to live if they do not come out with a smile and a piece of aper promising something!
the tree had witnessed that a few tensed faces sitting here, after sometimes become the part of the faces of this building but they dont sit here. now they move from here to there in this gallery everyday with many pieces of papers. the tree had seen those faces happier for few days then again the tension of life and death comes on them!
the tree used to get exhausted to see them but the watering in the morning and evening makes him relaxed as he did not need to put extra effort to suck water form the dry ground.
he used to notice everyone but noone noticed him!
but today thats a different day! today it was a shock for him! a girl with freshness in her face, vibrant dark black eyes, curly black hair tied back some curls were flowing in her face, was continuously watching and observing him. the tree was becoming conscious. the girl was not that beautiful as the other girls pass through this gallery but certainly something was catching. may be it was the gaze of her or her eyes or her hair........no! it was the freshness....she was not at all tensed!
tree noticed in her eyes that actually he is very beautiful, pink colored flowers in each and every branch in the green grass land. this made him very happy a wave of wind came and he smiled waving its branches.
since days, the tree was thinking that may be he was not visible for human being thats why they do not notice him. as tree was the youngest one among other surrounding trees, they used to take care him a lot! they give answer to his every questions and tell him about the activities of human being. they tells him bedtime, daytime or everyday time stories about human, their struggle, their passion for development and the conversion of this land from a wood to a city! they all were watching the girl looking at the tree! now the tree's doubt of being invisible was certainly diminished!
the tree was looking at the girls eyes! he was knowing that the girl knows that he can listen her and can understand her. then an impossible and strange thing the girl said......tree become shocked and happy! a wave came and the tree smiled! the girl smiled back! now the tree was sure that the girls knows that he can listen to her!
then the lady who always sit on this room and send people to that chamber of torture, came and sent her to there.
as she left the other trees asked him......"everythig is ok...!" the tree said.... "yes! actually no!! a very impossible thing is going to happen first time.....this girl will become a tree!"
